Default weird clunking shifting 4th, 5th, 6th

i got my car about 3 months ago and i noticed that when i shift into 4th and up there is a wierd clunking coming from under the car, i cant tell if its from clutch or tranny or ds. it doesnt matter how easy i let the clutch out as soon as it grabs there is a clunk and then i let the clutch out the rest of the way and its fine. no noises or anything and it doesnt do it when i take off in 1st or 2nd or 3rd. So i beileve it is a tranny issue. Car has 100k on it so maybe time for a rebuild? other than that tranny seems fine. let me know what you guys think it could be or there is anything i can try. I do plan on changing the fluid soon so maybe that will help.

Nothing much in common with 4 and 5-6. Could the clutch be starting to go? Take it out on the highway in 6th, and safely mash the throttle and watch the RPMs vs MPH. If the engine revs faster than the MPH increases, the clutch is starting to slip and you may be hearing artifacts from the worn clutch.

Inspect the trans. mount (in between trans. tailhousing and crossmember) as well as the torque arm bushing (torque arm slips into it and it's held against the side of the trans. tailhousing.) Both are rubber and prone to cracking / breaking at your mileage. As well, because it's not gear specific, it's possible that you do not have an internal trans. problem. Good luck.
