Default gm slave vs mcleod slave

Any one had both? I am trying to decide if i should go with an aftermarket slave or not. I can't find much information on them. I am putting in a rxt twin and want to make sure i have no troubles shifting.

thanks

You should have no problems shifting with the factory hydraulics. At the very worst maybe a larger Master Cylinder will be needed. What year car?

04 gto. i have a aftermarket master on the way. I'll just stick with a OEM slave then. do you guys sell alignment tools for the rxt seperate? I bought mine from a buddy how ended up selling his car before he installed it and he lost the tool.

I drove a car with the McLeod slave and it worked great, and I liked how it was adjustable. The only downside is that is made the pedal much harder than the stock slave.

I just ordered my RXT with basic steel flywheel today. I will be using Tick Slave cylinder with a stock throw out bearing.
I forgot to order my alignment tool!
