Hurst Comp Plus Shifters On Ebay? Can anyone tell me if these are a good shifter? I was looking for a billet plus but then ran across this the price is good and it should look good but I just wanna make sure there good shifters. I bought one of those shifters from ebay seller zchris. The ones he sells with the angled stub are OEM Hurst shifter bases. I really like mine, I use one of his black short shifters also. I have bought a few things from him and found him to be a great ebayer.

Dam $120 is a steal on that shifter! You did really good on that deal, and I know you'll like that shifter a lot.
The other one on ebay for $139 is nothing but a stock SS/WS6 shifter base with a chrome handle and round ****. You can normally pick up that shifter for $50-60 used and a handle is only $20-25. Be glad you didn't get that one. Don't get me wrong, its a good shifter, but not anything like the billet plus

It may just appear to be longer in the un-installed picture. If it ends up being longer than you want, its not that hard to modify it to make it shorter.
