Default Help with my problem

Hi all I have seached read and read but I cant seem to pin point my issue.
I took my car to the track car being a 02 ws6 M6. I know the clutch got hott after a few runs. but all of a sudden i cant get the car in reverse without using two hands and forcing it. all forward gears are fine. Clutch fluid is Black as the car. clutch is very soft. could it be the reverse lockout, slave? throwout bearing? or all the above?

Get some fresh fluid in there and start bleeding the cluch till the new fluid comes out. If that doesnt work you may have fried your clutch or toasted the slave. May be time for a new clutch.

If it does come down to it I would stray away from an LS7 setup. By the time you spend the money on that clutch kit and have to spend the extra $300 on a Tick master you could have gotten an nice kit for less...just my opinion

Laterally into the gate points towards the lockout mechanism.

Foreward into gear points toward synchronization issues.

Agreed...it sounds like you have two deparate issues. The dark fluid evidences that you need to flush and refill the system. The issue selecting reverse could alos evidence a lock-out issue or other internal trans issue.
