under high acceleration loads and long runs all the fluid in the T56 flows to the rear, leaving the front dry, bearings overheat and can lock up, gears heat treat and quench on decel, lots of bad things can happen depending on how long the "run dry" is. basically you spray the front portion of the T56 nearest the input shaft and the fluid restores lost lube and cooling to the dry parts...
i plan on hooking mine up to come on WOT otherwise its not needed for me, normal driving isnt a prob so no need to run spraying all the time
