Clutch suggestion for 600 rwhp
Looking for a clutch that can hold 600+rwhp (possible new motor setup will be approx 500 rwhp) , used for street strip, with zero to minimal Chatter, squeaks or any other irritating noises. I HATE noises out of the ordinary.
I was thinking about getting a monster stage 3/4 but been reading many posts about this clutch chattering and squeaking. That would bug the S#!t out of me on a daily driver. So The hunt goes on for another clutch.
Any suggestions? I want the closest pedal feel to stock (i know that will be hard to find) as possible since i will be driving my car on a regualr basis. Any opinions on ram, spec, act, centerforce, diamond clutches?
I refuse to spend more than 1k on a clutch for only a 500 rwhp car so Mccleod and textrallia is out ( I know they are the best).
again, Chatter/ noise is my main concern. this will be a street / strip car. I plan to order a clutch very soon. Any help will be appreciated

I would suggest our SPEC Stage 2+ or 3+ kits. They will have more than enough capacity and great drivability too. I have provided a link below for you, so take a look and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

Cool. thanks. Not knocking on your clutches but ive heard, like monster stg 3, the spec stg 2/3 has a lot of chatter? is it due yo installer error? improper break in etc.? Im looking for a clutch with ZERO-very very minimal chatter.
Also, would u suggest a lightweight flywheel or billet steel?

I'd recommend the Diamond Stage 2. It's by far the best seller out of all the Diamond clutches. It drives almost like stock but is rated for 600hp/tq. We're currently running a special on all Diamond Clutches. Feel free to do some searches for it and you'll find nothing but good feedback on it. Check my sig for website(s)

Stage 3 and 4 can chatter a bit due to the pucked disc design. The Stage 2, 2+, and 3+ are actually very smooth to drive. It ultimately comes down to getting the stage that best suits your needs and wants. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

Our Level 3 has ~8% stiffer pedal than stock and is lighter than competitors. It will easily hold your power level and we have plenty of people daily driving this clutch. While it has pulled off a 1.45 60' at the track and been 10.3s. Feel free to call me with any questions. Chris, 817-750-2000
