Default T-56 slave.....did I break it ??

I'm not too familiar with this, and I was monkeying around trying to get the engine mated to the trans.
Thought there might be a way to compress this and lock it temporarily for the mating.

Then I popped the spring for the throw out bearing off, and the plastic housing that I think is the guide for it.
I was trying to get the TOB to actuate while this was out and like a moron, I pushed it all the way in and then the seal started pissing brake fluid a teeny bit.
Then I stopped and pushed the seal back in, and I think the seal is fine still.....just not sure if the plastic housing for the TOB is fubar'd or not.

I think it's fine inside this area, but can I just put this back together or is this thing Fubar'd ??

I would get a new one...Yeah the seal "MAY" hold, but I don't like dropping a T56 enough to take that chance...

Is there a difference between these 2 slave cylinders ???

I found 2 GM part #'s but not sure what the hell is the difference besides the $44.
GM Part # 18037524 is $96 @ GmPartsGiant > Looks the same as this
GM Part # 15046288 is $139 @ GmPartsGiant > This says 98-00 F-body

Dorman units sold at a lot of auto parts stores seems to be the exact same. Has the AP stamp on it just like GM slaves. Just has a different brand name.
