Default Clutch pedal engages but quickly bleeds off.

Hi guys, I am new here. I just picked up a 1993 Formula Firebird with the T56 transmission and I have an odd issue. The clutch works just fine, press the pedal down and the clutch is released, but pressure quickly bleeds off and the clutch engages even with the pedal at the floor. I have enough time to get the transmission in gear before it starts engaging on it's own. Also, if I just rest my foot on the pedal, it will slowly bleed down all the way to the floor. It's not leaking any fluid. Any ideas?

If it's not losing fluid, it has to be the master cylinder.

That is what I was thinking as well, essentially the same thing that happens with power brakes when the master is giving out. Never really had a problem like this with a hydraulic clutch setup.
