Default Do I need a new clutch?

When I first got the car it only would make a strange grinding noise when releasing the clutch rarely. Now it happens daily, also when the car is idling there is a weird loose metal sounds. If the tap the gas when in neutral the metal sound gets faster. Im thinking that I will need a new clutch and maybe throw out bearing.
Any help would be appreciated. The car has 132,000 miles

Thanks, do you think it is worth upgrading the clutch while under there?

if you don't know the history/age of the existing clutch...may want to put a new one in along with TO and pilot bearing (typically all come in clutch kit)

what you have to go through to replace a TO bearing...big job so unless the clutch is pristine when you take it out, replace it

resurface the FW also

If the clutch has quite a bit of mileage like you say then I would go ahead and replace the clutch while you are doing the slave/throwout bearing. We have monster kits available with your choice of slave/throwout bearing. Monster levels 1 and 2 retain stock pedal feel, and when you want to have some spirited driving their there to hold up!!! Check them out on the link below:
