well....the msd has a 2-step function but it quit working on me. after some diagnostics this spring i've come to the conclusion it's in the box. martin is convinced that if i spin this thing just a tad higher, i could eek out another 2+ mph, and given the fact that i shifted 3-4 late on this pass and i picked 3.5 mph in the 1/8, i'd say he's on to something.
i have a laundry list to get in order to go much further:
new wheels (m/t doesn't like the placement of the valve stem hole on these BS wheels for tubes)
new tires
new gears
new rear center section
new spool
new axles
new brakes
ugh...the list goes on and on, lol! i bet if i went 135 with a mid 1.3x 60', it'd go 9.999999

It gets updated regularly. In the OP I ask that everyone "Please post your replies on the format below to speed up my updating process." That way I can copy and past it into the list since I am usually updating this from work. Your post didn't even include your ET or much about your car. Just a link to another thread.

and 3pedals is right. i was on street tires on the street. leaned into it in 2nd gear. it "rattled/chattered" the tires. grabbed 3rd and heard a "pop" and that was all she wrote.
