Default Ford TKO500 behind 5.3l, couple ????

I have a brand new never used TKO600, I have purchased the proper bell from QuickTime, and got the input shaft machined down to 15mm GM shaft. Wiring harness is from a 00 TA 4at, what if anything will I need hooked up to the harness? VSS, Reverse switch, are ford, can I swap out for GM? It's all bolted to the car as its going in my Mustang but I'm sending the ECM out soon to get reflashed is the fact that it's a 5speed for a ford going to be a big deal?

You just need to get a GM VSS. There are no other inputs from the transmission to the ECU. Before you put everything together, I suggest bolting up the bellhousing and the trans to the engine, without the clutch. This will be to make sure that your input shaft is engaging properly with the pilot.
