Default Did Monster change their stage 2 12" frictions? Mine looks different.

Here's a pic of my stage 2 monster clutch, it looks different than any picture I see online. I thought it was going to be a full face clutch, but this is almost a reverse puck style clutch. I'm a little worried regarding the longevity, grip, and drivability of it now since all the reviews I read are most likely on the older style full face frictions. Doesn't look like much material on this clutch...

Looks just like my S2 that I got in today.

My '02 is full bolt too. I ain't worried nothin'. Tons of non biased reviews say its a good clutch.

"puc" type disc can be more susceptible to chatter than a full face

Ping Monster as they could certainly explain in detail their offerings....before you install it. I would assume they would swap it out to something else if you wanted

Their web site does show a full face offering as "stage 2"...so either the clutch was mis-packaged or they have changed their stage 2 design and/or friction material

I don't know what the friction material is...their site says "carbon/organic"...but your pic "looks" more like a Kevlar material...from this side of the internet

Every Stage 2 Monster I've seen has a different disc. Same material, just "cut" differently. Monster says it does not affect anything. My Stage 2 and my friends (3 of my friends rock Stage 2 Monsters) all have different styled discs and they all feel the same. Enjoy your awesome clutch!

That's a level 2, no issues or worries running it.
