Default help me with what is wrong with my t56!

so ik my t56 was on its way out the door bc it would pop out of 3rd and get locked out of 4th. few months ago i was roll racing a kid. second i hit 4th car shut off and was jammed in 4th. managed to get it out and get the car home. next day i go out to pull it out and its jammed in neutral its impossible to get into any other gear.

anybody have any ideas whats wrong with it? im sending it out next month to either tick to get a stage 3 or rpm for there stage 5. and idealy how much extra will it cost me ontop of the rebuild. just guestimates here

Popping out of gear is usually a sign of worn slider-engagement teeth on that gear/slider. Once the engagement gears round off badly there's nothing left to hold the slider engaged to the gear and it will just pop out of gear. It will only get worse as time goes on. It could also be broken pads on the shift fork which won't allow the slider to completely engage the gear.

Getting stuck in gear or stuck in neutral is usually a broken key/s inside the slider assembly. Make sure to upgrade to billet keys when you rebuild, especially on the 3-4 slider assy.

Part of your problem is likely an original aluminum 3-4 fork, worn at the shift rail. It'll get fixed next month.
