GTO to Camaro Shifter???

Default GTO to Camaro Shifter???
I have a GTO 6 spd and need my shifter in camaro location. Can I just replace the shifter with a Camaro unit?

+1^ you also have to change the receiver in the shifter housing. it sits in a different location. its easy push the roll pin out remove offset receiver slide new one on bam

Shifters for the FBody are cheaper than the GTO too
