help driveshaft stuck wont come down during clutch change
I started clutch change today. Unbelted the 4 bolts and brackets. Driveshaft stuck won't drop. What can I do to loosen. I prayed hit with mallet nada. Will a small home depot torch work. Ty

You are speaking of the rear joint, the cap bolts at the yellow arrows?
Once those bolts & caps are off, the joint should literally fall out. If yours is "stuck" that bad, I'd assume it's damaged beyond saving so just hammer the pi$$ out of the joint caps with a big drift and try not to hit the driveshaft...

yea it wont budge and im pretty dam strong. so what will i need just a new driveshaft u joint? what would cause to go bad just age? pisses me off. going to try again this week. thanks for your help s10.

These joints just about always "fall out" after removing the caps, so first thing would be to figure what went wrong. Hopefully it's just the joint and not the rear yoke. If you have air tools, you might try rattling between the joint and yoke with a ball-joint splitter like this:
