Monster stage 3 can u use a gm fly????????

Default Monster stage 3 can u use a gm fly????????

So they was a used stage 3 on CL looked amazing even had an extra brand new disc no heat marks mating surface looked great but he doesn't have a monster fly with the clutch. Can you use others than monster... he swears he was running it with a gm fly. Let me know what u guys think b4 I check it out.

There are differences between models, personally not sure.
Monster should sell you parts if you already have some of their stuff. I prefer the peace of mind of a billet steel flywheel vs a cast one.

Yea I priced it from them its like $300 not sure if its worth buying used then without it. Was kinda hoping I could use my LS2 flywheel. There fairly close as far as weight goes, as the one that comes with the kit.

I believe it will work but will require a shim for optimal performance. You always need to ask why they are selling it in the first place

We do NOT recommend using cast flywheels on our frictions. The reason behind this is that our frictions are much more aggressive and you run the risk of overheating/overstressing the cast piece and it can explode.

Save your pennies and buy a billet flywheel, having something spinning by your feet at 6,000+ rpm is not something I'd go cheap on personally.
