GM clave cylinder hydraulic connection problem
I purchased a brand new GM slave cylinder for my F-body through Summit.
Upon inspection of the new unit, I found that the female connection for the clutch master cylinder hydraulic line has a bit of play to it. It can be slightly wiggled around the slave cylinder housing, with the roll pin being roughly the pivot point that it moves around.
I compared with the one I removed (non-GM) and it was rock solid.
Having never replaced a slave cylinder on an F-body before, I would like to ask if some play on the connection is normal?
Don't want to install the transmission, find it leaking and then have to remove it all over again.

Some play is expected. That fitting is sealed with a square o-ring and will tolerate all kind of movement. If you want to feel better, gently punch out the roll pin and examine the o-ring.
