Default T56 grinding into 1st

I have a 2000 WS6, M6. Sometimes the trans with grind when trying ro enter 1st. Clutch is all the way to the floor. What could be the cause? Could the clutch cable need adjusting? Clutch need replacing? Any help is appreciated. Car has 54k miles.

I'm guessing this is an f-body with an OEM MC? If so do some searching around for the drill mod. Then do the drill mod. Then realize it was sort of a waste of time and pony up for a tick/mcleod/raam MC.

I kind of agree...
I would go with a ram adjustable.

O...K... After looking at your previous threads it seems you have an 87 foxbody. Which mostly likely is cable driven unless it has been converted to hydraulic? You can adjust the cable and see if it helps. If it has a double/triple position quadrant I would try moving the position further toward the rear of the car. To stretch the cable more.

TtopTurbo, your opening post here says it's a 2000 WS6, which to most people means a Firebird.

Please step back in here and confirm what this transmission is in and any updates.

I didn't even see the 1st sentence! lol. If it is the ws6 then I'd look at the master.
And Paul Bell, I like the Monte Carlo in your sig. I too have a 71.
