Transmission help for my 5.3 swap.
Hey new to the forum here. I have a 59 Chevy biscayne has the 6cyl and 3 speed on the colum. My plans for the car are that I want to swap a 5.3 into the car but keep the orignal trans. I'm pretty sure it's a Saginaw 3-speed and I know the bell housing won't fit over the 5.3s 168t flywheel. So I need some help on what flywheel I can use and what clutch setup. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The later 60s saginaws are set up like a 10 spline Muncie/T10.
Confirm your 59 trans/bell bolt pattern, spline count, input shaft dimensions. If they're the same as a Muncie/T10, follow this:

Thank you. I read that entire thread a few days ago and wondered if that applied to my 59. I guess I will just have to look and see. Thanks again for the help.
