Everytime i disengage my clutch while im in nuetral, right at the shift point a slight humming-type noise comes from underneath and inside the car. Another thing is if i'm rolling back from reverse and going into first (or visa-versa) theres a loud strong click/knocking noise comming right from the trans. i just had some work done on it about a month ago (replace the master cylinder, a trans rebuild last april, pressure plate and slave cylinder i believe) any help would be awesome!!! thanks!

I had the same problem in reverse with my trans except sometimes it would jump out of gear and occassionally the transmission would feel like it was "bucking". Turned out to be a reverse gear and reverse synchro.(Think the gear was worn mostly from me being stupid and driving on it when I knew there was a problem). Humming is probably a throw out bearing.

thanks, im gunna look into it at a shop that did the previous work and tell them to get it all right this time!
