Question Lt1/ls1 T-56???

I have a '94 TA and want to do the A4 to M6 swap. I called Tennesee auto and they said they're runing a little dry on LT-1 T-56's as of late, and I imagine they're becoming hard to find anywhere. Would it be cost efective to convert an LS-1 T-56 to work with the LT1? I haven't started buying parts for the swap yet so I'd like to avoid any unnecesary buys. Thanks

( from an LT1) Front adapter , input shaft, clutch housing , pivot stud. clutch fork and the correct( LT1) releases system will convert an LS1 T56.

Does anybody have an aproximate cost for all of these items? Is ebay a good place to look for the parts?

Went through this on my buddy's 93 Bird. He spent $1500 (Tax included) for everything he needed, and he got a B&M Ripper Shifter out of the deal. This is with an original LT1 tranny, so if the cost gets above this to swap the LS1, I wouldnt say its worth it.

So you did the A4 to M6 swap for $1500? Or just did a tranny rebuild? What all was "needed"
