Default Speed Inc's short shifter?????

Search function is down right now. So I was just checking to see if anyone has this on their M6? I'm doing a swap this weekend and the shifter still has the stock stick on it. I've read how a short stick makes shifting so much easier. So how is it if you have one? Any different from the others? (LSS, UMI, etc. etc.) The reason I'm asking b/c I'm needing it by this weekend, and since I'll be in the Chicago area, I'm thinking about going with them. (b/c of time purposes)

Any opinions welcome.

Are you talking about the complete shifter or only about the stick?
I installed a short stick this evening and removed it 1 hour later!
Shifting is "sportier" and "faster". That's ok.
The reason I removed it is that you'll hear a lot of noises coming from the tranny. Just normal noises that you usually don't hear because of the rubber insulator.
Normal but VERY annoying!

Just the stick.....the tranny already has the Pro 5.0 on it. I was just wondering if there was anyone that was using their short stick.

if you have a pro 5.0 make sure to get something with a bend in it. I just got a lou's short stick compared to my modified pro 5.0 and its much better than stock. Only reason I switched from my modified is I didn't trust the welds

Well I just ordered the straight one Speed Inc had. I wasn't too sure about the angled one. I guees I'll see how this works and then if I don't like it, I'll switch.
