Default Confused

Hey guys this is a tough question but I installed a Spec stage 2 clutch I went through the whole ordeal with having to use two shims instead of one to get the clutch to disengage. I replaced the master cylinder, slave cylinder, throw out bearing and flywheel I did not replace the pilot bearing. Now after all this the clutch will grind 3rd and pop out of gear sometimes. Could this be a clutch or transmission issue. I only ask because I dont wanna spend a grand then find out its the shim or pilot bearing or something of that nature. Thanks for all your help.

If your box has never had the iron 3/4 shift fork mod, you are overdue.
