Default Used Clutches

Good idea or bad idea to buy a used clutch? What should I look for as far as signs of excessive wear?

Would you buy a used condom?

Okay...maybe a bit drastic. Look for hot spots on the PP and flywheel, and if you want, take pics and post them up on here. We should be able to tell (somewhat).

It's a stage 3. He wants less than half the cost of a new one. Worth it?
