Okay, I just got the car back from the dealer after a new clutch, 3-4 syncro, input shaft, 3rd gear and gearings were put in and now when I'm stopped, the shifter won't go past the 3/4 gear area like there's a shift gate of some sort. You know, like when it's in the neutral position and you normally can move it side to side freely frim 1st to 6th position. Mine gets hung up on something. While you're driving, it goes into all 6 gears just fine, but I better not park somewhere I need to get into reverse because I won't be able to coast forward 10 feet just to get it into reverse!!

Take it back in. There's a few things internally that could be or a minor shifter issue. If it were me I'd put it in reverse when I park it if possible till you get it in.

yeah... she's back in the dealership... man, I've owned the car for 2 weeks and it's been in the shop for 1 and a half.

well, looks like a pin in the tranny linkage broke and will get fixxed...
