Centerforce 12" DF clutch slipping or chattering on slow take-off from a stop
I just installed the Centerforce's 12" DF clutch, pressure plate, billet flywheel, & throw-out bearing. I initially had the problem outlined in this other thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=509483&referrerid=35176. I fixed that with installing a Mcleod adjustable master cylinder. But now when I take-off from a stop slowly, the clutch sounds like it's slipping or chattering until I fully release the clutch pedal. It shifts great everythime after the initial stop. I don't think this is normal and I adjusted the master down a little thinking maybe I had it adjusted up to high but that didn't help. Does anyone know what this could be?? I've only got about 50 miles on the setup so far. Do I just need to drive it some more to get it broke-in or do I need to fix something else now? I'm clueless on what else to do next, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it sound kinda like the humming/whining a power steering pump makes when it starts going bad??? That's what the clutch sounds like on a soft take-off from a stop. I just want to make sure that everything is good to go with the clutch cuz it sounds a little different. Will that sound go away after it starts breaking in????

O.K., I've got my 500 miles on the clutch finally and the chattering has gone away. I'm glad it all ended up being good to go, because I was at the verge of breaking some **** because of the problems with the clutch. After it's all said and done now though, I can't blame Centerforce. It was worn out hydraulics and/or still more air in the system that was causing all the problems. With the new master installed and a 500 break-in done this damn clutch grabs like a moffo. I can't believe how hard the car launches and accelerates now without the worn out piece of garbage stock clutch. I would recommend this 12" Dual Friction centerforce to any f-body driver. You can't beat this setup for the price. Later
