revs up when i push in the clutch?
Im new to a manual car, first one for me. I have had it for about a week. when im driving i will shift at about 2500-3000 and when i push in the clutch it will rev up anywhere from 200rpm to 500rpm. Is the normal?
I didn't notice it until today. I dont remember it doing it when i first got it.
Any thoughts? or am i just over reacting?
thanks

Not to be rude at all but being your new to stick are you sure your foots off the gas all the way?
These pedals stock don't really feel good and it might be as simple as that.
Also you really don't need to turn an ls1 car that high to drive, I shift mine like 1500-2000 daily.

Thats becaust your foot is still in the gas, of course letting of the clutch is gona put less load on the motor and let it rev up. Even if you just took your foot off the gas the same thing will happen.

200-500 still seems little high for the increaing of load like mentioned.
Still doesn't seem extreme, do you have stock clutch and fly?
I wouldn't worry at all, heck good work picking it up.

Mine does that too... even if I put it in neutral o_O
Depending on how fast I am rolling it will go higher.
It didn't always do it either... If I'm going around 45 it will rev all the way to 3k!
It does it very intermittently, I'm thinking when I got the new clutch installed it will take care of the problem.
