Technical Question - Experts Needed
I got my flywheel resurfaced but I do not know exactly how much was taken off. That would make it difficult in choosing the size of the spacer. If I got an adjustable master, would I then not need to worry about getting a spacer or shimming the flywheel?

it is my opinion that adjustable master cylinders are useless, you're still going to need to shim the flywheel.
can you just call up the shop and ask them how much they took off?

FRom what my GM mechanic contacts told me that run one of the local hiperformance shops it is recommended to not turn the stock fluwheel, it was cause them to overheat and or warp faster. Even GM wont turn them on warranty or R&R jobs, new only because of all of the issue that come from turning them.

They just took enough material off to make it smooth. They did not measure to see how much they removed.
I wish I had the money to buy a new flywheel. Should I shim my resurfaced flywheel or put a spacer in slave? And if I do, should overcompensate a little since I don't know exactly how much was taken off?
