what new clutch/flywheel/pressureplate to buy?
I have a 2000 SS with about 50k on the stock clutch setup. My mods are in the sig, its basiclly stock. I have started to notice a significant slip during hard shifting. And throwout bearing noise taking off. Wondering what setup I should go with. I don't plan on running the car at the strip very often, maybe half a dozen times a year. Buy I don't what to have to do this soon again. I also don't plan on going any further than a mild cam/springs and DR's. Anyone have suggestions.
Thanks

what are your goals with the car? are you looking for a setup to hold more power later on? i would suggest the Spec 3+, i talked to several people lately and they say it will hold 700rwhp and keep the streetability of a regular spec 3. that is a bad **** is this is the truth. i just helped a friend with his ram powergrip hd install and he's loving his so far. i'll be running a mcleod rev lok II in my proshifted setup until that blows up, then i'll probably go to the spec3+ or a powergrip hd. definatly make sure that you upgrade to the later model slave cylinder, and master cylinder (or get an aftermarket adjustable master) and a billet, or alum. flywheel would free up some power also.
