M6 starting grinding going into 3rd then it started grinding going into 4th. Now it won't downshift into either 3rd or 4th. Was told that it was rebuilt within the last 16,000 miles by RPM Trans by previous owner. Think it might be 3-4 syncros? Shift fork? This something I can do? (I've done one T5 in the past).

This all happened pretty quick also...

Definitly would look into a rebuild. Not to hard to do it yourself, lots of pics and theres plenty of info on the internet.

I would check if the3/4 fork was upgraded to iron @ the rebuild. That could be your problem (if they cheapied the rebuild with the aluminum fork).
