Clutch question: Quick help please
Ready to purchase new set-up and weighing out a few options. Car will make around 400 rwhp, daily driven in the city, but want to be able to have fun at the track(once a month maybe). I am leaning towards the LS7, but have now read you cannot launch over 3800 RPM's or else the clutch will glaze over.
Now on the other hand I have been thinking about a serious Centerforce clutch. I know many of you bad mouth them on this board, but I grew up in the their city and know they have a solid reputation and a solid product.
So the main question is, I have 500$ to spend on a clutch and want a good ratio of mileage(life)/to performance. I already have slave and master. And for all you spoiled textralia people, I would appreciate it if you didnt tell me to save up and get a 1000$ clutch. Thank you all

The fact is, I am not pushing to much power, and I think there is a clutch around 500$ that can do it. I am a college student and do not have the time to save up a 1000$ with my clutch getting more and more unbearable. Oh and I will NOT run a Spec clutch!
