Default mcleod single disk

I was looking at this for my lt1 but i wanted to know if i can buy just the pressure plate and clutch disk or if i really need to buy the kit because i dont think i need a new flywheel

You should have a ballanced and resurfaced FW to go with the clutch you are putting in.

I 'think' the FW on the McL single is machined a bit fartherforward to avoid shimming the slave. My stock clutch was in the McL box, and was sitting UP farther, so who knows. But I did not have time to install the McLeod ADJ MC w/ the clutch and it was not disengauging very well. (did it a couple days later) You need the MC w/ that kit. I've never been in an LT1, but on the LS1 FW's there are alignment tabs for the PP on the FW. The McL single doesn't have the alignment tabs. -If I remember correctly.
