Odd question about big clutch driving style
I just recieved my RAM Powergrip HD clutch and was wondering before I put it in...
This is a odd question, but...
For all the people who drive largers clutches: RAM HD, Spec 3 or 4, cartek, etc, etc.
What is the proper way to drive big clutches? I know your not suppose to slip the clutch alot.
Anyone have any tips or pointers to extend the life of the clutch?
example: When I take off - I blip the throttle a couple times then ease off the clutch.
I just want to make sure I don't cause premature failure on the clutch because of driver error.

Avoid slipping at all costs. They kind of force you to drive more aggressively. Hit your optimal launch rpms (for my car with a cam its about 2k for normal driving) and release the clutch as fast as you can without burning out. Ram has a bunch of information on their website about how to drive a manual car as to extend the life of your clutch.
