Clutch pedal spring?
I have these two springs that mysteriously fell out from under the dash when I removed the bottom panel to take the master cylinder out. They are round spring with the end of the spring poking out sideways, one sticking out on each side of the spring at different ends. They are black appr. 1/2" wide. Im lost? My pedal has good pressure but feels floppy at first.

I have broken 5........After the 4th I left it out for like a year and a half.......I finally decided to replace it when I changed my master cylinder. I broke it after about 3 months of it being in.....I give up on these things. There is enough hydrolic pressure to return the pedal so I'm not too worried about it

That springs are useless. They are not there to return the master cylinder (this is done by both the spring inside the master cylinder but more importantly the pressure plate springs pushing back on the throw-out bearing). The purpose of these springs are to keep the clutch peddle "tight" and thus prevent any rattling. Less than a month after I bought my car (new from the dealership), I had the spring snap and fall out. I had it replaced under warranty (figured “hey, why not, it’s free”) but less than a month later, the new spring broke. At this point I didn’t feel like wasting time playing with it. So in short, 5 years without a spring and not an issue (when you understand the system, you see there wouldn't be any issue).

Talked to a tech from Ram and he said I should replace it but if supersix has already gone through it 5 times, I'm not going to waste money on it. If they pass them out for free like key chains, then yeah, I'd replace it.
