Default 98 camaro t-56 slave cylinder question

Hey guys. I'm in the process of gathering parts for my ls1 fd rx7 swap. The trans I received has the clutch line cut (salvage yard). Can I replace just the line or do I have to replace the hole slave cylinder? Could I use plain brake line and make my own clutch line? Thanks for the help!

I'd just pick up a new line or fine a good condition one from the boards here or a salvage yard.

You do not have to buy a new slave. However, I'd recommend putting a fresh 01+ slave in the car to avoid future hassle.

Accually, I just noticed your T56 is from a 98 car.

I HIGHLY recommend upgrading your slave to a 01+ unit. This would be a must in my book.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
