i was on the phone 2day which i try to avoid, but i brought it to bout 3-4k and halfway into 2nd i let my clutch out.... narrow concentration. but ya it was loud grinding makes me wanna cry. think ne major damage could have occured?

Doubt it, 2nd feels fine still right?

If it's shifting fine don't worry about it. You'd be amazed the amount of abuse most transmissions can take, especially performance models.
