Default M6 crossmember

Has anyone ever used this Yank crossmember for an M6 before? I would like to take the stock mount off and use this one. Mainly for servicing the trans and clutch. It should be a bit lighter but easy to remove the trans, torque arm and mount.

Yes. I have it. Want installed pics or something?

It fits great, looks better, and much stronger!

In fact, since it interchanges with the TH400 you can go from a roadracing setup to a dragsetup in just a couple of hours if you know what you are doing.

Moving the trans mount off the trans is a huge advantage, also.

Sure, I'll take some pics! I do like the fact that it removes the torque arm mount from the trans.

Took some pics [attached]. My digi cam doesn't focus anymore. But, I have had a TH400 and T56 in my car with this crossmember. Stock t arm aftermarket t arm... stock exhaust aftermarket exhaust. No clearance issues and makes the car look better on the underside. Excuse the dirty car. This is the first time I have driven it in about 3.5 months.

It feels a little more rigid and you won't risk breaking off your tailhousing extension. I haven't done it in a manual but I have blown one off in an auto car. Then, again...then I drag raced this car it had an auto in it.
