Default is an ls7 clutch ok with stock '06 GTO T-out Bearing???

hey guys........

i'm posting this for a friend of mine who needs an answer QUICK! he just swapped a T-56 in place of a th400 and the trans just started pissing fluid.

the combo....

he's got a '68 Camaro with a NEW factory stock '06 GTO T-56 trans that came with the throwout bearing already installed. he was wanting to know if this setup is a match with an ls7 clutch setup or not? fyi, the car is NOT a GTO, it's a 68 Camaro, only the trans is for a GTO.

any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

with a 6.0 yes it'll work, but what year block is it. The 99-00 and some 01's had the longer crank.

he's not sure, but he said it had a 3/4" adapter that was removed and so it's the length of the newer cranks now. thanks for helping out with this.
