Default Clutch pedal problems?

Hey,
I am in the process of doing a A4 to m6 swap in an 01 formula. One of my ? was when i go down to push the pedal all the way down its like the last 2 in of travel the pedal shoots all the way down like spring loaded or something and the only way it can be brought back up is if you go down there and pull it up. Im wondering if it is one of those springs in the pedal assembly. Also when i bleed the slave i cannot get a solid pedal. Ive tried gravity feed along with the mity and still the pedal feels like there is nothing there. Could this be due to using a used low Mileage slave and master? Without the slave connected i get a rock hard pedal. So im thinking it could be a bad slave. Thanks for any input.
Mike

Nevermind, it turned out my clutch pedal return spring is bad or not in right.
