Default Tailhousing seal

Had the car up on a lift at work and noticed there was trans fluid leaking out, cleaned it up a bit and noticed it is coming from between the driveshaft and tailhousing...noticed on gm's site they have a double and a triple seal for the M6's. Is there a major difference between the two? which one would i be better off with?

Default

I use just a sinlge lip seal myself . If there is a leak more than likely the rear bushing has wear or the yoke itself does . It might stop leaking with a new seal but there's a chance it won't .
