whats the plans for the car in the future? is it a tracked regularly? high clutch dumps on slicks? im guessing no since its a GTO...but if it is i'd spring for the twin its really not a whole lot more.

im going with the twin and im making the same power you are.

Unless you are going beyond 700rwhp/tq....anything over and above the OZ700 will only hurt daily drivability.

Just because its only slightly more expensive doesnt mean you need it.

I'd stay away from the twin. Mine wouldn't hold at a tad over 550tq. I've heard better things about the oz.

its also rebuildable...meaning if you ever do go above 700 ft-lb then your covered, and the clutch can be rebuilt which is nice...

to each his own...i've driven a tex twin and yes it takes getting use to but its very easily driven, mine will be daily.

Any clutch is rebuildable. If it is buildable, it is re-buildable.

And there are people with a fair bit more than 700lbft on the OZ700 too. Its an amazing clutch !!!

I have the triple....and if it was a daily driver, I would choose the OZ700 over it every time. I only swapped because I liked the look of the triple, and thought at some point my OZ700 wouldnt hold....Except that when I did take it out, it was pretty much only broke in.
A mate will be using it in his car eventually.....unless I ever get tempted to put it back in ! lol
