Default Metal swishing noise?

When I am in 5th and 6th, and sometimes 4th, I hear a swishing sound that is contingent on throttle (if I'm on throttle, it happens, if I'm just cruising, it's gone, but if the transmission shakes at the trans mount point, the noise occurs on the shake. Make any sense?). It's coming from what I'd imagine is the transmission. I've heard diagnosis being the throwout bearing, but was wondering what everyone else thought. I tried a search but didn't really find a conclusive answer. I can try and get a vid this weekend if it will help. Beyond anythign else the car still shifts perfect at 113k miles. Stock clutch and hydraulics on a 2000 Formula. Thank you.
