Spec Clutch issues...
I need some advice, I had a spec3 and billet steel FW installed 1-3/4 years ago, and the clutch alwats chatters when moving from a dead stop. I thought it would go away during the break-in, but it didn't. It did get a teeny bit better. I have always dealt with it. I just retrieved the car from storage (its been in storage for a year) and now, during hard acceleration, it chatters/vibrates REAL hard, and slips. I know next to nothing about clutches, Is there possibly some kind of alignment issue since install, or do I need to replace the clutch and or flywheel? I'm pushing close to 400 horses- If I need to replace it, what is a very streetable clutch? I am sick of the chatter, and rarely ever street race it at all. All I want is it to behave itself like the stocker, but with no chance of slipping. McLeod or Zo6? Please help. Thanks!
