Default LS2 GTO Clutch

Might me a dumb question, but will a Spec 2+ clutch kit part# sc662 and a sc57s LS2 flywheel work in a 2000 LS1 F-body. The reason I ask is I have a brand new clutch kit and flywheel available to me at a very steep discount

Yeah the Spec SC662 clutch and Spec SC57S flywheel will work fine in your LS1. I was looking at doing the same thing using my LS7 clutch and a Spec LS2 flywheel but the SC57(A or S) is only for aftermarket clutches. I needed an SC66A.

Actually that might be bad info. I didn't notice the GTO part. I was thinking 'vette and should have been reading closer. I don't know if the GTO flywheel is compatible.

I've got access to some ls1 flywheels I could compare it to.
