Default New GM Twin Disc Clutch???

The May issue of GM High Tech Performance says the '09 CTS-V with the 550+ supercharged 6.2 L engine is going to have a twin disc clutch with a dual mass flywheel. I would imagine the new supercharged Vette will have the same set up. Has anyone got any more info on this clutch?

It will not fit older ls series engines as the flywheel has a different bolt pattern.

You're right supercharged, too many beers. I'll change it.

Hey Joe or Amber are you saying it will work on LS3 and LS7, but not on LS1, LS6, and LS2? And no way to modify a LS1 flywheel so the twin disc will work?

As far as I know it will only fit the ZR-1 and the CTS-V, unless someone makes a flywheel.

That's what I read also...the crankshaft on the LS9 has a different bolt pattern...so the LS1/2/6 etc will not bolt up. It someone made a flywheel, though, it might work.
