Default Slave Bad?

so my clutch pedal went to the floor yesterday and never came back up also the clutch is not disengaged so i poped the hood today and the fill for the clutch was empty so im wondering if the slave is bad or what would make it run out of fluid like that? also is there a difference in the slave cyl for 98 trans ams compared to the 02 trans ams?

it seems that there is some fluid where the bell matches up to the engine and where the trans goes to the bell

so i tried to fill up the res and bleed the clutch and im getting fluid out but the pedal does not come back up and it feels like there is no pressure to it at all, so could this be the master or the slave?

definitely the slave if the fluid is coming from the bell housing, and the 01+ hydraulics are better. so when you buy a new slave get an 01+ (even though i am pretty sure that is all they make now)
