Default LS7 slave/throwout bearing

Quick question. is the LS7 slave/throwout bearing the same as the GTO/Fbody type? Yes I know the gto has a different fitting to the Fbody.
Cheers,

The GTO guys say that the Fbody and GTO slaves are interchangeable (apart from the fittings) and they dont use shims. As they are of different heights wouldn’t the clutch engagement height be totally different?
