I recently had a new motor put in my car at a dealership. Insurance covered it due to hydro lock. I was putting my headers in with two of my friends on Sunday and one of them noticed that the little shield that covered the flywheel teeth is missing from the driver's side. The passengers side has one though.

What are the consequences of driving without this shield? I'm thinking about calling the dealership tomorrow and telling them that I noticed and see if they can just give me one to put on there.
