Grabbing fast as in very little pedal movement off the floor? It should do that during break in then it will engage higher off the floor. Also remember that you bought an aftermarket clutch that is going to be grabbier and hold more power than a stocker will

Ive driven the car quite a bit before this started happening.. it used to slip a little when engaging, like enough to comfortably drive it.. now its just to the point where its on or off.. I understand its an aftermarket clutch but its not a non driveable aftermarket clutch lol..

There should be a threaded rod connected to the top of the clutch pedal that controls engagement. Try threading it in/out a few full rotations and see how the clutch feels after that.....

I had a RAM910 and VDS pressure plate that engaged pretty much right off the floor until I messed with the threaded rod. I did have to slip it a little or it would chatter/shake the car to pieces . Very solid clutch engagement. 440rwhp and tons of abuse for about 20K miles before it gave up the ghost. Always install a new clutch slave cylinder when installing a new clutch setup. Major PITA to r/r if it goes out prematurely from reusing an old one.
