Drill Mod '99 hydraulics?
My firebird is a 1999. I have already upgraded the slave cylinder to the new 02 style and I need to know if I can just drill mod my current master cylinder or if I should get a newer 02 style master and drill mod that... Is there an advantage to the 02 style clutch master cylinders over the 1999 style?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have the drill mod done to the newer style master, and have wondered and searched about the newer hydro's but have never really heard a true answer of why the 01-02 hydros are so much better, I would like to know what was really done on the redesign? everyone just says they are alot better. But if your master is in perfict working order I dont see why you couldnt do the drill mod to it.

The Drill Mod is drilling out the Line ends going from the Master Cylinder to the Slave Cylinder. The 01-02 Slave is designed internally better than the previous one..
